Hi We’re Marily and Dennis
Hi I’m Dennis and this is my wife Marily. We’re real estate investors here in Metro Detroit.
I was born and raised here and grew up on the west side, and I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern and an MBA from USC.
We live here and we work here. We are raising our four kids here. And we care deeply about this area. My wife and I volunteer at our church, our kid’s schools, and a couple of local charities. And we support a number of other charities financially throughout the year, especially at Christmas.
We’re also a family of die-hard Red Wings fans and we love going to games downtown. We also try to 
catch a couple of Tiger games at Comerica Park every summer.
We’ve been in the real estate business here since 2004 so we’ve seen a lot – especially during the crash years of 2007 – 2010.
We knew a lot of people who lost their jobs and homes and never recovered. It was gut wrenching to watch.
The crash years were difficult times no doubt. But we worked through it together and came out of it stronger for the effort, and our little (at the time) real estate business helped us get through it.
And so we continue to work hard to help homeowners who might be having trouble, and homeowners who simply want to sell fast without any hassle.
How We Got Started
We got started working with home sellers back in 2004. It all started with my Mom actually. She was terminally ill and we were going to take her in to live with us, and part of the prep was that we had to get her townhouse sold.
It was during that process that I learned how difficult it was to sell a home that wasn’t in any condition to sell using a real estate agent. It would’ve taken quite a bit of money to get it cleaned out, cleaned up, and spruced up enough to be listed. But with the market as it was, we weren’t sure we’d be able to get that money back. So we sold it as is, which turned out to be the right decision.
That opened my eyes.
My brilliant powers of deduction told me that we probably weren’t the first sellers who wanted to and needed to sell as is, and we certainly wouldn’t be the last. So I started a real estate business focused on helping others in the same situation.
Since the I’ve helped folks in a variety of situations, including avoiding foreclosure, divorce, relocation, inherited properties, owning vacant houses, being upside down on a mortgage, behind on payments, fire damage, bad rental tenants, and more.
So what I’m trying to say is that I’ve been in your shoes.
And over the last 15 or so years I’ve developed the expertise to work with home sellers in the difficult and sometimes delicate situations that they can encounter. And I bring that experience, discretion, and maturity into every transaction.
Who We Are
Catherine
Catherine is our second oldest and a recent graduate of Hillsdale College. She’s amazingly creative and does a lot of the heavy lifting with our data and marketing. She works with us part time as she pursues her career in Interior Design.
Marily (aka The Boss)
Marily is the brains of the operation. She handles the accounting and finance, and oversees all the operational aspects of what we do. She had a spectacular career in Silicon Valley before she “retired” to raise our kids and be the COO of our household after we moved back to Michigan after graduate school. Now she’s the COO of our business too.
Dennis (aka the Worker Bee)
I do whatever the other two tell me to do. LOL That includes developing our marketing strategy and marketing materials, working with sellers, and making sure we do what we said we were going to do. With every home seller. Every time.
